Drahomira was born on February 12th, 1919.  Drahomira's father was Rudolf Mareček and her mother was Albina (Bela) Krauskopfova (Marečkova).  Her paternal grandparents are Pavel Planka and Rozina Marečkova; her maternal grandparents are Tomàš Krauskopf and Eva Bauerova. She had four brothers and a sister, named Miroslav, Bořivoi, Vladivoj, Kvetoslav and Venceslava.  She was the third youngest of the six children.  She died at the age of 85 on August 8th, 2004.
